Bell's Barrel of Laughs

The Client

Bell's -a brand of blended Scotch Whisky owned by  Diageo PLC- sought us out to create a campaign page for its 'Barrel of Laughs' campaign.  The campaign revolved around rolling a whisky barrel from Blair Athol distillery in Perthshire, Scotland to a 'Help for Heroes' recovery centre at Tedworth House. Along the way, Bell's organised comedy shows to raise money for the 'Help For Heroes' charity.

The Challenge

In addition to normal project management and development tasks, the go live date was moved forward  three days well after the project had begun.  Our team re-shuffled its collective deck and delivered the project ontime and in full.

The Tech

Our PM team pulled double duty on this project by providing the site's frontend designs as well as project management services.   Development was executed with HTML and JavaScript and we even customised the Google Maps API to use a whisky barrel to indicate each stop on the 'Barrel of Laughs' Tour.
